Fast, healthy growth — how Alga Grow works

Organic fertilizers often need to be converted by soil life before plants can absorb them. Plagron Alga Grow already contains usable amino acids that speed up this process and can be absorbed directly by the plant. This ensures faster, stable growth and promotes root development — perfect conditions for later, abundant flowering.

Application & dosage

Shake well before use. Add up to 4 ml Alga Grow per liter of water (1:250). Use this nutrient solution with every watering during the growth phase. If you use an irrigation system: flush the pipes after use.

Note: When combined with 100% NATURAL substrates (e.g. Plagron Bat Mix, Plagron All Mix, Plagron Royal Mix), pH and EC values do not need to be adjusted — soil life regulates it naturally. That’s why EC measurements are not meaningful with organic Alga bases.

Can I use Alga Grow on Lightmix/Growmix?
Yes. With Lightmix, start with Alga Grow right away; with Growmix, Plagron recommends starting in week 2 — organic Alga bases need 1–2 weeks for soil life to process nutrients.

My nutrient solution smells or looks cloudy — is that a problem?
No. Organic ingredients may cause odor or cloudiness due to natural bacterial processes — this does not harm your plants.

When should I switch to Alga Bloom?
Switch to Plagron Alga Bloom as soon as the first flower signs (bud formation) appear. Until then, Alga Grow remains the best option.

Do I need to adjust pH/EC?
With 100% NATURAL soils, no pH or EC adjustment is needed — soil life takes care of regulation.
