The perlite is mined on the Greek island of Milos and undergoes an expansion process in which it increases in volume by up to 20 times. This structure gives it the ideal properties for gardening. - Use in plant containers: Mix one bag of Perligran Organic (20 l) with 80 l of planting or potting soil (mixing ratio 1:4). Fill the container with the mixture, place the plant, top it off with the mixture, and water with about ¼ of the pot volume.
- Application for homemade soil or compost: Mix one bag of Perligran Organic with about 5 l of compost (mixing ratio 1:1) and distribute evenly for improved soil structure.
