BioBizz Bio·Up – pH Adjustment for Organic Systems
If your tap water has a too low pH value, it can block nutrient uptake in your plants. Bio·Up gently raises the pH level. Unlike mineral products that “shock” the pH aggressively, Bio·Up works with humic-acid-based buffers that do not interrupt the biological processes in the substrate.
🛠️ Practical rule for pH adjustment:
Always measure the pH of your nutrient solution after adding all fertilizers. Organic fertilizers already buffer the water naturally. Bio·Up should only be used as a final “fine adjustment.” Measuring too early leads to double corrections and unnecessary pH fluctuations.
When do you actually need Bio·Up?
Not every water source requires adjustment. Soil-based organic systems are quite resilient. You only need Bio·Up if your water:
- Has a pH below 6.0 (risk of nutrient lockout).
- Shows signs of magnesium or calcium deficiency in plants (often caused by pH imbalance).
