EC management: Hydro plants often absorb more nutrients than water they transpire. Monitor EC closely – if it rises, the nutrient solution is too concentrated.
Oxygen supply: A nutrient-rich system is useless if roots “suffocate” in the solution. Ensure maximum aeration of the reservoir.
Water temperature: Keep your reservoir between 18–20 °C. Water that is too warm is one of the most common causes of root issues in hydro systems.
